Pilot House in Kennebunk

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN RUDE WAITERS AND I WANTED TO LEAVW AS SOON AS I ENTERED. Gave me a hard time about my REAL ID, if I could give this place negative stars I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

Great food great server and very fast serving

This place is clam heaven. The New England clam chowder is the best that I've ever had. But the shining star was a fantastic basket of fried belly clams that melt in your mouth like butter. I could have pigged out on these all day. Shout out to a lobster stuffed with meat and some delicately yummy fried pickles.

My husband and I loved this place so much we went to lunch here twice. Normally we like to “spread the wealth” but when something is that good, why change it? The lemonade is so good, the coconut shrimp and oh my the haddock Reuben. May we suggest going for a pie cone right outside at Maxim’s Desserts in the little yellow truck. Trust me you will not regret it. The banana with peanut butter pie in a waffle cone is heavenly.

Stuffed haddock with shrimp scallops and lobster. Fried clams that barely need to be chewed. Outdoor right next to the water. 110% satisfied!

Fun environment. Food needs to be taken up a notch as well as the draft beer choices.

Solid food with good service. They have good seafood here ranging from classic fish and chips to lobster. I got the fish and chips which was greasy and good as expected. Nothing spectacular but good food.

Food good, but too busy for good service.

They have indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated quickly. Drinks brought promptly. Nice variety menu. Food came hot and portions plentiful. Prices reasonable for the area.

Hilarious downtown spot. Really the best spot- where the locals go- probably because it’s got the best prices and the least snobby place in KPT. They make a seriously yummy chicken wing and have great entertainment.

Food could be better but a fun place

Hidden treasure of the area where the locals go. Laid back, great food (try the pickleback chicken sandwich with bacon), drinks, and staff is extremely friendly.

It's okay. Bartender was rude right off the rip. Double check that what you want to order is what you get. My awesome waitress added what she felt I needed I guess.

Good food, reasonably priced. Fried haddock, chowder, and lobster roll all excellent.

Wow, they were jam packed with tour buses and we got our food in 15 minutes from the time we sat down. Football game was playing at the bar. There's a good sized patio to eat outside. Gotta save room for blueberry pie.

Great seafood. Excellent service. Janice was very helpful in our choices. We heard about the Pilot House Restaurant from a very nice lady at the Kennebunkport beach. She told us the locals love this place. We agree with her. This place is absolutely wonderful.

This was this first restaurant We tried while in Maine and wow did we choose well. Great friendly service, delicious food, and good prices. I got the lobster roll and it was amazing, the clam chowder was delicious, and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. I’m definitely going to try to make it back before I need to head back home. Much Love from Chicago!

Very busy lunch service on the door we visited, as rain had moved in. Quick service. Delicious chowder!

The food was fantastic, and I had the best lemonade I've ever had. Our waitress was very nice and polite. I wish there was a little more tartar sauce with the haddock basket, and the music is a little loud, but other than that, no complaints.

Great Fish and chips and an expensive treat of very tasty, perfectly cooked fried clams. The band playing was so much fun! Radio Revival, I think. The crowd didn't want them to stop!

Best locals bar in Kennebunkport. Bright, open bar serving up great cocktails with solid food options. Service was personable, friendly and prompt. No frills, what they do they do well. 70% people there appear to be regulars and know each other. It is on the water/harbor and look to have a new deck for next summer. A bar person bar with the added benefit of location and good food.

The food was good and margaritas were excellent!! However, the noise level was so high we couldn't have a conversation while we were having dinner. The louder the music got the louder the people had to shout to hear each other. Would probably go back for a drink but not for dinner.

Very good food, outdoor patio sitting, alcoholic beverages, friendly courteous waitress, prices not terrible, casual restaurant. I had beef grilled Reuben which was wonderful at $12.00 w/ 1 choice of 3 sides.

Fish tacos had nice big pieces of lightly breaded, tasty fish and a tasty Cole slaw.

Amazing lobster roll and great atmosphere. Awesome waitresses, thank you for the excellent service.
